Uncuts October issue cover story looks at the making and impact of U2s Joshua Tree album - the record that broke them in America and turned them into the international superstars that they are today. The issue also takes us back to the following tour that was recorded and filmed for the Rattle and Hum live album and film, and includes some of Anton Corbijns previously unpublished pictures taken from the famous Joshua Tree cover shot session.

Uncut has also compiled an exclusive CD featuring tracks that U2 were listening to when the seeds for the legendary Joshua Tree were sown. The CD is free with the magazine.
